Capital Ship Management Corp. takes delivery of M/T Amadeus
Athens, Greece, June 30, 2015. Capital Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery of the newbuilding vessel M/T Amadeus from Samsung Heavy Industries (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. in China today. The M/T Amadeus is a 50,000 dwt, IMO II/III Eco Chemical/Product Tanker. It is the second of eight super-efficient new sister ships with eco-friendly design to be delivered between 2015 and 2016.

Αθήνα, Ελλάδα, 24 Ιουνίου 2015. Την Δευτέρα 22 Ιουνίου, το βράδυ, το υπό διαχείρηση πλοίο της Capital Ship Management Corp. M/T 'Agisilaos' (δεξαμενόπλοιο μεταφοράς χημικών και προιόντων του πετρελαίου, χωρητικότητας 36.700 τόνων (dwt)), έλαβε οδηγίες από την MRCC Malta και την MRCC Roma για την εκτροπή της πορείας του και τη συμμετοχή στη διάσωση 220 μεταναστών που διέτρεχαν κίνδυνο σε ένα μικρό σκάφος στη Μεσόγειο, ανατολικά της Μάλτας.
Capital Ship Management Corp. takes delivery of M/V Akadimos
Athens, Greece, June 10, 2015. Capital Ship Management Corp. took successful delivery of the newbuilding vessel M/V Akadimos from Daewoo-Mangalia Heavy Industries S.A. in Romania today. The M/V Akadimos is a 115,145 dwt / 9,288 teu, Eco-Flex, Wide Beam Containership. The vessel is under time charter to CMA CGM. For the duration of the charter it has been renamed to “CMA CGM Amazon”.
Capital Ship Management Corp. receives the ‘Green Environmental Achievement Award” for 2014 by the Port of Long Beach
Athens, Greece, April 9, 2015. The ‘Green Environmental Achievement Award” was today presented to Capital Ship Management Corp. by the Port of Long Beach in Southern California, U.S.A.
This award is being granted to operators that called the Port of Long Beach in 2014 and demonstrated that 90% or more of all its vessel trips complied with the Green Flag – Voluntary Vessel Speed Reduction Program.

Capital Ship Management Corp. is Commended for M/T 'Arionas' Successful Rescue Operation by Republic of Marshall Islands
Athens, Greece, December 11, 2014. The Maritime Administration of the Republic of the Marshall Islands commended the Master, Officers and Crew of M/T Arionas, managed by Capital Ship Management Corp. ('Capital'), for the successful rescue of 163 migrants on June 7, 2014 south of Malta.

Capital Ship Management Corp. receives the Amver ‘Special Rescue Award’ by the U.S. Coast Guard
Athens, Greece, October 31, 2014. The Amver ‘Special Rescue Award’ was awarded to Capital Ship Management Corp and the Shipmaster of M/T Arionas, Captain Christian Manole, for the successful rescue of 163 migrants on June 7, 2014 south of Malta.
It was a major rescue operation, as 163 migrants in distress on board two inflatable boats were safely accommodated on the vessel’s deck and provided with all necessary provisions (water, food, blankets etc.) and disembarked in Augusta Port in Sicily, the next day, June 8, 2014.
